Keeping the Pride Flowing

Hi everybody, I just like to say that I haven't been feeling well for awhile. However, I'm keeping myself going with trying to write. Also, I sorry that I haven't post any new written works for awhile.:(

I really have been trying to write my book, and so far no success.:(

*Sighs Saddly*

Anyway, after doing some research I find that there was book written by several great writers called "Dark Forces" the same that I titled the book I was writing. It's a book with many horror stories written in it and the authors are- Isaac Bashevis Singer, Davis Grubb, Ray Bradbury, Russell Kirk, Joyce Carol Oates, Robert Bloch, Edward Gorey, Theodore Sturgeon, Gahan Wilson, Robert Aickman, Joe Haldeman, and Stephen King. Its not a straight forward story, but it shocked me greatly. I really felt sick. Here's the link- [link]


What a dilemma I'm in. I don't know if I should change the name of my book; maybe I shouldn't because it's totally different from the book that these writers wrote more than twenty years ago. Anyways, I shouldn't worry about it. I need to keep myself going.

I like to ask all of you if you would like to help me out on things. The sword you see in my gallery needs to reach its finally stages, and if you wouldn't mind could you please help with that. If any you want to give it a try, please do. What I would like done for my sword is two successful concepts...One for the blade to be straight and the other for the blade to be slanted as it goes to the piont. For the one that the blade slants to the piont, it'll be six inches at the hilt and almost five inchesa as it goes to the piont something like this-[link]

That's somewhat the idea for it. Please look at other swords that simiar to get the idea of what I want..:nod:

Also, you may redesign the hilt, but not the handle. And another thing, those traingle sliver lines ontop of the hilt are what give the wielder the balance for the sword. So if you were to look at them at an angle you would see that they were like steps.:nod:

You may change different things about my sword, but it must stay almost to the original concept that I had.:nod:

This is your first novel, man, I think you needn't worry about it having the same title as one 20 years ago- I imagine you know all about how difficult it is to get published, especially with your first novel. Lots of brilliant writers have been turned down.

But if you'd like sb to illustrate your work, I could do with the challenge... if you think I'm good enough.

Well, I already made an attempt at drawing your sword, but I'd be willing to give it another shot, if you want. I don't know if I can really do it any better than you yourself did, though.
